Patronal Feast Day- External Solemnity; Front Royal Rosary Procession; Solemn High Mass of newly ordained priest on Wednesday

This Sunday we will celebrate the external solemnity of Our Lady of Victory, known also as Our Lady of the Rosary, as it was through the faithful praying the Rosary at the order of Pope St. Pius V, that a miraculous victory was won at the battle of Lepanto to save Catholic civilization in the West.
Read more about the spread of her title to a wonder working shrine in Paris France, which in turn inspired the incredible history of the famous shrine in Buffalo NY, which in turn inspired the choice of the title of our community by two New York natives, our Provincial Superior Very Rev. William Lawrence and Fr. John Audino.

We will celebrate the external solemnity at all masses this Sunday October 4 in Front Royal and Nokesville.

We also remind those in the Front Royal area of the public Rosary Procession organized by the Knights of Columbus of St. John the Baptist, on Saturday, Oct 3 at 6:15pm beginning at the corner of Luray Ave and Main St. A great opportunity to give witness to your faith and pray for the extension of Christ's victory through our land

On Wednesday, Oct 7, the proper feast day, newly ordained Fr. Marshall Harmon FSSP, assigned to our apostolate in Chesapeke VA, will offer a Solemn High Mass in St. John's Adoration Chapel at 6pm. We will pray Vespers with Benediction at 530pm, and after Mass Father will be available to impart his first blessing.
